At West-Midlands Credit Union, sustainability is integral to our principles and ethos. We support our members to ’Go Green’ through our Greenify Home Improvement and Greenify Transport Loan. The Green Schools Sustainability Awards aims to support and recognise primary schools within our common bond who also show a commitment to 'Going Green' and sustainability.
West-Midlands Credit Union recognise that climate action and mitigating climate change is one of the most important long-term goals for the quality and functioning of our planet.
Participants are invited to provide details of one Sustainability project in your School. Each entry must fall under one of the below categories:
- Reduce litter and waste
- Energy
- Water
- Biodiversity
Each project should show what your school can do to: reduce litter and waste, save energy, save water or Improve biodiversity.
Prizes:
The Winning School will receive €500 for your school and 2nd place School will receive €250.
*Prize money must be invested into the continued development of sustainability projects in the winning schools
