Joining our Credit Union is easy once you qualify under the “common bond” (see above) which refers to the geographical area in which West-Midlands Credit Union operates. You must live or work within this area to qualify for membership.
Documentation Required to Open an Account
| Valid Photo ID | Passport or Driver’s Licence |
| Proof of Address | Recent utility bill, Bank statement, Letter from Revenue, Government Department or Local Authority (must be dated within the last 6 months) |
| Proof of PPSN | On an official document e.g. Payslip, P60, Medical Card/Drug Payment Scheme Card, Letter from the Revenue, Government Department or Local Authority. |
Please be advised that we are unable to accept the Public Services Card (PSC) as a form of identification, or of PPSN confirmation.
- Please note that the name on any photographic ID (e.g. name on a passport) must match the name on a proof of address document.
- If you are unable to provide any of the documents listed above, please contact us on 0818 246 497 and we will be happy to advise further.
- There is a once off membership fess of €1.00 for a Single/Joint account. A minimum balance of €5.00 is required to keep an account open.
